Banker Robbers

Most people pay an average of four hundred dollars a year on bank service fees and don’t even know it. We are being hoodwinked. We are being taken. We are being robbed by our banks.

 

Problem

As a newly rebranded company, Axos needed to increase awareness and consideration in a cluttered category where they were being outspent 100:1.

Insight

Treat Others As You Wish to Be Treated. After years of being taken advantage of by large banking institutions, our target was in need of a financial partner that wouldn’t rob them of their hard earned money.

Solution

Don’t Get Robbed By Your Bank. We created a campaign that poked fun at the absurd reality of customers getting robbed by their banks, and offered an alternative to the ones finally ready to do something about it.

Relevancy

Our “Bank Robbers” TV spot was named one of the top 5 ads out of 86 across the banking sector for the past year (Ace Metrix), and PR from the campaign earned 14 million impressions across AdWeek, Ad Age, Shots, The Drum, and more.
